Fixed Operations Assistant

Hyundai of Anderson is currently seeking an Fixed Operations Assistant to help with:

  • Answering multi-line phone calls for both Service and Parts departments
  • Cashiering customers for both Service and Parts departments
  • Scheduling appointments for Service department
  • Responsible for handling cash drawer
  • Assisting with Parts counter sales and wholesale deliveries
  • Handling daily parts department operations with instruction from Parts Manager
  • Additional duties may be assigned by Parts or Service managers
  • Training with Hyundai provided and will need to be maintained to Hyundai Standards.

Assist the service/parts department so that it provides appropriate levels of profit.

Become familiar and proficient with all phases of the computer system needed for parts and service management, developing and maintaining the skills required.

Together with the parts manager, establish an efficient process ensuring a smooth flow of parts to service technicians during jobs.

Create and maintain a process to effectively manage warranty, customers paid, and internal repair orders.

Require employees to keep the department clean, organized and efficient.

Use professionalism, cordiality and concern to acquire the trust and confidence of new customers upon their introduction to the service/parts department.

Keep to expense and revenue goals as budgeted.

Create promotional campaigns in cooperation with the sales and parts departments.

Establish and maintain service follow-up programs.
